How it works
- Send your request. Pick Moving, add your city and phone number.
- We pass it on. Your request goes to a local mover who covers your area.
- The mover calls you. You go over the details, get a quote and pick a date.
To get an accurate quote
Movers price by the size and difficulty of the job, so have these ready when they call:
- Where you’re moving from and to, and the date you have in mind.
- Roughly how much you’re moving: number of rooms, or a list of the big items.
- Floors, stairs and elevators at both ends, and where a truck can park.
- Anything fragile, very heavy or awkward, like a piano or a large wardrobe.
Moving questions
How much does a move cost?
It depends on the distance, the amount of belongings and the access at both ends. We don’t set prices. The mover gives you a quote and you decide.
Can I just move one piece of furniture?
Yes. Mention that it’s a single item or a small job in your request or when the mover calls.
Do movers handle packing?
Some do. Ask the mover when they call, and agree on exactly what’s included before moving day.
Which areas do you cover for moving?
Brooklyn, Monsey and Lakewood. See the service areas page.
